About Ministry
Ministry is an American industrial metal band from Chicago, Illinois. The band was founded in 1981 by frontman Al Jourgensen, and was originally named Ministry & Co-Conspirators. The band's early work was a melding of heavy metal and electronic music, while its later work encompassed industrial metal and technopop. Over the course of their four-decade career, Ministry has released 14 studio albums, eight compilation albums and a number of EPs and singles.
Their most commercially successful albums are “The Land of Rape and Honey” and “Psalm 69” which respectively spawned the hit singles "Stigmata" and "Jesus Built My Hotrod". Other popular singles from later albums include "N.W.O." and "Just One Fix" from 1992's “Psalm 69: The Way To Succeed”. In 2019 Ministry released their 14th and latest studio album “AmeriKK
