Mipso is a modern folk quartet from North Carolina that started producing music in 2011. They were nominated for an Americana Music Award in 2014, and since, they have continued to craft a deep and soulful sound, summarizing it as "Dark Holler Pop". Each of its members bring their own unique influences and talents to create a sound with traces of folk, country, bluegrass, and Indie rock. They have released five studio albums, the latest being "Edges Run" in 2019 which charted Billboard Top Heatseekers Albums. Although each member has pursued various side projects, they continue to tour as Mipso while recording and writing new music.
