Morat is a Latin Grammy nominated Colombian indie-folk-pop band from Medellín, Colombia that formed in 2011. The band consists of four members: Juan Pablo Isaza (guitar and lead vocals), Martin Escobar (guitar and backing vocals), Jose Hugo Aguilar (drums and backing vocals) and Juan Pablo “Bonny” Londoño (bass and backing vocals) . They debuted in 2013 with the release of their self-titled album Morat. The group received critical acclaim and quickly developed a loyal fan base in Colombia. They since have released two more albums, Balas Perdidas (2016) and Sobre el Amor y Sus Efectos Secundarios (2018). Both these albums received major recognition, Balas Perdidas earning them their Latin Grammy nomination.
