Neil Young is a renowned Canadian singer-songwriter and guitarist whose career has spanned more than five decades. His prolific and lengthy career has seen him performing in various genres such as folk-rock, classic rock, country rock, and blues-rock. As a solo artist, he has released over 36 studio albums, while his work as a member of the band Crazy Horse has seen the release of 12 studio albums. Young has been inducted into both the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and in 2018 he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He has also earned a long list of awards, including two Grammy Awards and two Juno Awards. His highly influential work has earned him the nickname "Godfather of Grunge".
