Omdat Het Kan Soundsystem is a Dutch reggae fusion band from Rotterdam. Formed in 2006, the band consists of six members with a mix of reggae, dub and electronic dance elements. With their high-energy live performances, the band has captivated audiences for over a decade. They were nominated for a Dutch Grammy in 2010 for their album, ‘Het Nuuwe Ding’. Omdat Het Kan Soundsystem is a fan-favorite at festivals, and has performed at the Amsterdam Dance Event, Sziget Festival and Lowlands. As part of their mission to foster a global community of love and unity, they have toured extensively around the world, from Mexico to France.
