About Piu Piu
Piu Piu (also known as Beatriz Silva Santos) is a Brazilian multi-instrumentalist and singer, part of the São Paulo Breakbeat scene. She has released three albums since 2016, each showing off her unique blend of Latin American, hip hop, funk sound. Piu Piu also collaborates with many musical artists and projects, ranging from worldwide pop artists to the music of protest.
Her work has been celebrated internationally at festivals such as The Great Escape Festival in the UK, NXNE in Canada, and the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas. She was the official guest of honour at the Red Bull Music Festival in 2018. She has also collaborated with producers like DJ Bruno Belinksi, Marcelo Cabral and produtores Inou to create an energy-filled Concert Live Show.
