About Renato Ratier
Renato Ratier is a Brazilian electronic music artist, DJ, and producer based in São Paulo. Originally, he was part of the funk-style band, O Rappa, before leaving in 2000 to pursue a solo career. Ratier released his first solo album ‘Dubandback’ in 2007, and has been releasing a steady stream of subsequent albums since.
He is known for his chill-out style, blending genres such as house, bossa, samba, jungles, southeast Asia, and more. Ratier is a big proponent of Brazilian culture and has used his musical platform to help promote it. He has collaborated with all-star Brazilian artists like Céu, Rogê, Suba, and Arto Lindsay. Ratier is also a frequent remixer and has more then a dozen remix projects to his name. He's played at many major music festivals such as Tim Festival, Tribaltech, and Sonar, and is recognized in
