Rhythm & Sound is a German duo made up of Mark Ernestus and Moritz Von Oswald. They share a rich history in electronic music, with both Ernestus and Von Oswald having extensive experience as producers. During the 2000s, Ernestus and Von Oswald abandoned techno for a sound like no other, flavoring dub, house, and reggae music with experimental and minimalist electronics. Using these and other genres, the duo has perfected a sound that has been referred to as dub techno andBasic Channel-style dub. Known for their live performances, Rhythm & Sound's releases have achieved a cult status among fans all over the world. Over the years, many other artists have been influenced by their sound and style.
