Rob G is an American rapper and songwriter from San Fernando Valley, California. He began his career as part of the rap collective People Under The Stairs, releasing his solo debut, Breakin' Out, in 1999. A frequent collaborator with Thes One and Double K, Rob G released his solo studio album, Lyrical Knievel, in 2005 to critical acclaim. Over the next decade, he released several more mixtapes, including 2008's A Beatmaker's Guide to Good Living and 2013's Dream Seller. He collaborated with artists like Amun Mor, Hot Karl, and Evidence, and released a series of singles with Amun Mor. In 2012, Rob G released De La Ghetto, his first full-length LP in seven years.
