Shintaro Sakamoto is a Japanese singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer. He started his career as a member of the Japanese rock group Yura Yura Teikoku in 1993. He continued to make music with the group for over a decade before he released his first solo album 'How To Live With A Phantom' in 2010. Following the solo release, he performed across Europe and the US alongside Hannibal Marvin Peterson, Ryuichi Sakamoto and Cornelius. He also released two more albums 'Let's Dance Raw' in 2014 and 'Love If Possible' in 2017. Shintaro Sakamoto has developed a signature style blending psychedelic rock with traditional eastern melodies, and has gained international acclaim for his work.
