Sunny War is an American musician and songwriter from Los Angeles, California. Her genres span indie folk, blues, and rock and roll. Her 2019 album With The Sun sparked critical acclaim and achieved multiple chart placements. Her style blends elements of open fingerstyle, bottleneck blues and rock, often garnished with a range of different singing techniques. Sunny began building a name for herself busking on the Venice Beach boardwalk in the early 2000s. She attracts attention from her raw vocal delivery and powerful rhythmic guitar style.
