Susan James is an independent singer and songwriter who has released five studio albums, five live albums, and several EPs. Originally from California, Susan’s signature style is a mix of folk-rock, country, and blues influences. Her distinctive voice and thoughtful lyrics have earned her rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.
In 2003, she released her debut album, “Lovin’ Life”. Since then, she has released four more albums and performed in venues around the US. Additionally, five of her songs have been featured in film and television soundtracks.
In 2016, Susan released her fifth studio album, “Love Is All I Need”. The album was nominated for Best Indie/Folk Album at the 2017 Independent Music Awards and featured her version of Neil Young’s classic “Harvest Moon”.
