About The Fiery Furnaces
The Fiery Furnaces are an indie rock band formed in 2000 by two siblings, Matthew and Eleanor Friedberger. Their music has been described as a mix of innovative garage rock, art rock, psychedelic rock, blues and electronic music. The band has been praised for both their avant-garde approach to music and their witty lyrics. The Fiery Furnaces are known for their unconventional approach to songwriting, often switching between different styles within the same song. They released eight full-length albums and four EPs between 2003 and 2011 before going on an indefinite hiatus. The band have since become cult favourites among indie music fans, with their music continuing to influence artists today.
