About The Spits
The Spits are a punk rock band from Seattle, WA, formed in 1997. The band consists of vocalist/guitarist/lyricist Sean, and brothers Scott on lead guitar and Justin on drums. Their brash, high-energy sound blends punk rock and garage rock influences, alongside elements of genres such as hardcore punk, dance-punk, and pop punk. The Spits' most recognized albums include their self-titled debut in 2000, "VI" in 2008, and "IV" in 2011. The band has toured extensively throughout Europe, North America and Japan, performing at festivals, clubs and squats. The 2015 release of their compilation album "V" also marked their first official recording since 2011. The Spits continue to perform and write new material, while also actively participating in the music community by organizing and sponsoring local shows in their hometown.
