About The Toasters (US)
The Toasters (US) are a ska punk band from New York City active since 1981. Started as a small-time club band, they are one of the earliest American second-wave ska bands and have experienced years of international touring. During their career, The Toasters released several critically acclaimed independent albums, and their 1997 release Two-Tone Army peaked at #4 on Billboard's Heatseekers Chart. They also released several compilation albums, and have had songs appear on both film and television soundtracks. In 2019 the band was inducted to the Long Island Music Hall of Fame. The Toasters are still performing regularly today, and frontman Rob "Bucket" Hingley continues to tour with the band around the world.
