Umwelt is an experimental electronic artist who began his career in the mid-90's. After starting his own label focused on underground electronic music, he rapidly gained a following. He has released material over the years on various cult experimental techno labels including Satamile Records, Shipwrec, and Blackseed. He has collaborated with artists such as The Hacker, Bartellow, and Djedjotronic, and has featured his remix work on labels like Boys Noize and Skint Records. His style combines elements of electro, techno, and experimental to create something unique and atmospheric.
