About Vaal
Vaal is an electronic music duo from London. The duo consists of Alex Coulter and Sam Willis and their sound is a unique blend of electronic and bass music.
Vaal have released two highly acclaimed albums on the UK independent label Whities: 9 Steps To Utopia and Last Day On Earth. These two albums showcase their unique production style, combining electro, techno and lo-fi hip-hop in exciting new ways.
In 2019, their track "Chiaroscuro" was featured on the DJ Mag Magazine cover CD, and they have since become an in-demand act in the club and festival scene. They frequently tour in the UK and Europe and have collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Nina Kraviz and Robert Hood.
Their music has also been featured in several film and TV soundtracks, including BBC One's Bodyguard and Netflix's Love Death and Robots. Vaal have also recently started their own label, Off
