Watashi Wa is an American pop punk band from San Francisco, California, formed in 1997. The quartet's original lineup included Bryan Koslow, Ariell Stern, and two siblings: Scott and Sarah Shiraki. Watashi Wa's music is often characterized by their melodic, energetic sound, driven by driving power chords, punk rock attitude, and emotionally-charged songwriting. Their debut album, When You're Ready, was released in 2001 and is comprised of several hit singles like "Let It Go" and "Do You Ever Think of Me."

Since their inception, Watashi Wa have released 5 studio albums, toured extensively across the United States and abroad, and shared the stage with the likes of The Ataris, Fall Out Boy, and Allister. Each album offered their own unique take on pop-punk, staying true to their punk roots while making their sound more accessible. Watashi Wa have built themselves a large, devoted fanbase and remain an iconic act
