Will Johnson is an American musician from Austin, Texas. He is the lead singer and songwriter for the band Centro-matic, and has released three solo albums since 2003. Johnson has also had a prolific career as a collaborative artist, playing in various side projects including Monsters of Folk, South San Gabriel, and The Monterrey. He has performed alongside acts as diverse as Gendered, Explosions in the Sky, Iron and Wine, and Pedro the Lion. As a result of his collaborations, Johnson has also released records on labels such as Saddle Creek, Jade Tree, and Suicide Squeeze.
