About Yaz
Yaz, also known as Yazoo in the UK, is a new wave and Synthpop duo consisting of Vince Clarke and Alison Moyet. The duo formed in the early 1980's and were previously part of the group Depeche Mode.
Yaz's debut album, Upstairs At Eric's, released in 1982, and yielded three of their biggest hit singles: "Only You", "Don't Go", and "Situation". The album was critically acclaimed and reached number 2 on the UK albums chart.
The duo released one more studio album, You and Me Both, in 1983 before parting ways later that year. Although the album was a commercial success, the band's disbandment after transition gradually ended the popularity of Yaz.
Yaz reunited in 2008 and released a new album titled, Reconnected Live. The album featured live renditions of the duo's classic hits. Since the reuniting of Yaz, Moyet and Clarke have been on
