About Young Fathers
Young Fathers are a Grammy-winning Scottish hip hop group from Edinburgh, Scotland. Formed in 2008, the group consists of members Alloysious Massaquoi, Kayus Bankole and Graham 'G' Hastings. They released their debut album Dead in 2014, and it won the Mercury Prize.
The group has since released two other albums, Tape Two in 2015 and White Men Are Black Men Too in 2016. In 2019, Young Fathers won the Grammy Award for Best Rap / Sung Performance for the single "Soon Come". They also have collaborated with several artists including Arctic Monkeys, Taylor McFerrin, Kate Tempest, Little Simz, and Popcaan.
