Ben L'Oncle Soul is a French Neo-Soul artist from La Rochelle, France. His debut album, A Coup de Rêves, released in 2009, skyrocketed him to fame. His unique musical style, which fuses soul, funk, blues and jazz, has drawn comparisons to Amy Winehouse, who he has frequently cited as an influence. Ben L'Oncle Soul released his second album, 7easiest, in 2011, and two years later, released his third and most successful album, Almâa. The album was a commercial success and spawned the hit single, "Soulman". In 2017, Ben L'Oncle Soul released his fourth album, Unclele Soul, and has since gone on an extended world tour, performing in Europe, North America and Australia.
