Black Belt Eagle Scout is an American singer-songwriter from Portland, Oregon. Her real name is Katherine Paul and she draws from both her Native American roots and the Pacific Northwest DIY culture. Paul released her debut album, 'Mother of My Children', in 2018 to critical acclaim, with Pitchfork claiming that Paul “balances the warm pulse of her indie-rock band with the glistening beauty of her voice”.
