Charlie Owen is an Australian country music singer who has been singing professionally for over 30 years. He started out playing small gigs in pubs throughout Australia before rising to fame with his single "Blessed" in 1989. After the success of that single, he went on to release several records, including "The Road to Paradise" in 1993, which reached the top of the Australian country music charts. His music has often been described as a blend of folk, roots, country, and blues. In 2018, he released his first album in almost a decade, "Forever as Leave a Light On". The album's lead single, "Beautiful", was a top 20 hit in Australia and made it to the Irish Top 40 charts. Owen continues to tour in both Australia and internationally.
