David Shaw is an American singer/songwriter, best known as the lead singer of the New Orleans-based musical collective, The Revivalists. He started out as a solo artist but teamed up with the band's members in 2007. Over the years, he has written and produced numerous songs for the group, resulting in 5 studio albums and multiple top 100 singles. Most notably, "Wish I Knew You" reached number 1 on the Billboards Adult Alternative Songs Chart in 2016. Shaw has also been nominated 3 times for a Grammy and has a strong presence on the live music scene.
