Dexys, formally known as Dexys Midnight Runners, are a British band known for their mix of soul, pop and Celtic folk influences. Their lead singer and pianist is Kevin Rowland and their songs are often uniquely associated with his distinctive singing voice. The band are best known for their breakthrough 1982 single "Come On Eileen," which topped the charts in both the US and the UK. Their follow-up album, Too-Rye-Ay, also included successful singles such as "Jackie Wilson Said (I'm in Heaven When You Smile)" and "Geno".
