Exium is a Spanish music duo formed in 1999, made up of Fernando Perales and Juan Rico. They are known for their electro-infused techno, which often utilizes ambient soundscapes and minimalistic percussion. Exium have been releasing on the techno label Nheoma Records since 2005 and have since released on labels such as Pole Recordings, Pure Plastic, Mindtours, Arts, Warm Up Recordings, and CLRS Recordings. Their albums include Substatic (2007), Tabula (2009), Future Unknown (2014), and their latest album Mbbok (2019). Their music has been featured in video games and films, and the duo has performed live across Europe, North America, and Asia. Exium have become one of the most influential and widely acclaimed acts of the Spanish techno scene.
