Filmmaker is a Los Angeles-based experimental, psychedelic music duo featuring Prisma-Aurora and E.M.M.A. The two singers began their careers in 2016, self-releasing their debut album I Am Not A Filmmaker, which achieved critical acclaim and commercial success. The album explored themes of escapism, existentialism, and science fiction, with its ethereal and dreamy soundscape. After this release, they embarked on a world tour, playing festivals and venues around the globe, while at the same time, producing music videos and artwork that garnered attention for their creativity. Their second album, Humanoid 2.0, was released in 2018 and further developed their experimental sound, while also incorporating more diverse elements and vibes to create a unique listening experience. With each album they continue to push boundaries and explore new avenues of music creation.
