Hayley Kiyoko, known professionally as “Hayley Kiyoko”, is a singer, songwriter, actress, and dancer from California. She has been featured on songs from other established artists, and has written and produced her own songs since the age of 15. Her musical style is indie-pop and her songs typically focus on lesbian relationships and women's empowerment. She had her breakout in 2018 with her album “Expectations”, which debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard charts, making her the first artist to top the Emerging Artist chart as both a singer and a songwriter. Her most recent album “I'm Too Sensitive For This Shit” was released in 2020 and it attracted considerable attention. Kiyoko has become an important voice for the LGBTQ+ community, and is an LGBTQ+ activist.
