Helen Shanahan is an Australian singer/songwriter from Canberra, Australia. She is best known for her distinct folk-pop sound, featuring simple, emotive lyrics and soulful vocals. Her music has been featured in numerous television shows, film soundtracks and advertisements since her debut album, 'Her Own Way', was released in 2007.

The album was awarded an ARIA nomination for 'Best Female Resease' and helped launch Shanahan's career internationally.
