Jess Cornelius is an Australian Alternative/Indie artist based in Melbourne. She has been active in the music scene since 2014, when she released her debut solo album titled Distance. Since then, she has released several other albums including Mechanicals (2015), Inner North (2018), and Tender for the Rats (2020). All of her albums have been praised for their unique blend of folk, pop, and experimental influences. Much of her music explores themes of identity, relationships, and mental health. In recent years, Cornelius has enjoyed success with her single “Brown Bottles” (2019), which was featured in The 1975’s album Notes on a Conditional Form and the U.S. TV show Grey’s Anatomy. She has also performed at major festivals like Melbourne Music Week, SXSW, and The Great Escape.
