About Jimkata

Jimkata is an electronic rock band from Ithaca, New York. Formed in 2004, the band consists of Evan Friedell (vocals, guitar, keyboard), Aaron Gorsch (guitar, synth), Packy Lunn (drums), and Jon Bevo (bass). Drawing influences from a variety of musical genres, they have created an eclectic mixture of classic rock, electro-pop, funk, and blues that captures their audiences.

Jimkata's unique sound has allowed them to tour extensively throughout the United States and even Europe. They often collaborate and remix with Electronic Artists such as Big Gigantic, Beats Antique, Break Science, and Michal Menert, and perform at music festivals such as Bonnaroo, Wakarusa, Counterpoint, and SXSW.
