About Joshua Roman
Joshua Roman is an American cellist and music composer. He was concertmaster of the Seattle Symphony for two seasons, and is now a concert artist and composer with many new projects in development. He has released three major concert albums, showcasing his highly varied musical interests. He has played in internationally acclaimed orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic and Chicago Symphony Orchestra, as well as performing as a soloist and collaborator with a variety of ensembles, including the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Modigliani Quartet and the JACK Quartet. Roman has also written music for film, television and theatre, such as the video game Scorched, choreographic projects, and has been awarded three times with the ASCAP award for his inspiring compositions.
