Juan Wauters is an Uruguayan American singer-songwriter and musician based in New York City. He is best known for his melodic, effortlessly cool, genre-spanning sound. His debut album, 'North American Poetry' (2015) was heavily praised by critics, and demonstrated his passion for blending traditional South American genres with indie rock and electronic music. His second album 'Who Me?' (2018) cemented his reputation as a singer-songwriter, and included singles 'Letting Go', 'Letter from Mí Hijo' and 'C.L.C.'. Throughout his career, Wauters has also collaborated with artists such as Toto La Momposina, Ryley Walker and Mac deMarco. Wauters is currently touring the US and Europe, promoting his most recent album 'La Onda de Juan Pablo', which was released in July 2020.
