Kids In the Kitchen is an Australian new wave inspired band formed in 1982. They released their self-titled debut album in 1985 and achieved international success with their singles "Something That You Do" and "Change in Mood". They also achieved three ARIA Music Awards. The group disbanded in 1990 and had reunited several times since. The band's original lineup included Julian G—anz, Cameron Arnold, Scott Saunders, John Galvin, and Duncan Sawyers. The band has been credited for helping bring new wave music to the Australian public. They have inspired many bands that followed them, including INXS and Eskimo Joe. The band continues to perform on occasion.
