About King Buzzo
King Buzzo is the stage name of Buzz Osborne, the guitarist, singer and songwriter of the influential grunge band The Melvins. Osborne formed the band in the early 1980s, and over 40 years later they continue to tour and make new music. The band has released over 20 studio albums and has been widely praised by rock media for their experimental sounds and attitude on culture.
As a solo artist, King Buzzo has released two studio albums, "This Machine Kills Artists" in 2014 and "Gift of Sacrifice" in 2020. His solo music projects focus on folk and acoustic elements, and differ substantially from the heavy, experimental, noisy sounds of The Melvins. He has collaborated with a variety of musicians, including Trever Dunn of Big Business and Dale Crover of The Melvins, to create these diverse, unique sounds.
