Kris Delmhorst is an American singer-songwriter based in Massachusetts. She has released six full-length albums since 2000, the most recent being Blood Test, released in March 2014. Delmhorst's musical style is folk-style Americana, often featuring her sultry alto or high tenor melodies. She has toured throughout the US and Europe, opening for a variety of artists including Ani DiFranco, Cary Brothers, and Josh Ritter. Delmhorst has collaborated with a variety of excellent musicians, including Bill Janovitz, Rose Cousins, Anaïs Mitchell, Mark Erelli and Jeffrey Foucault. Her music has been featured in several films and television series, including Parenthood, Damages, and One True Thing.
