Los Bukis is a popular Mexican music band that formed in 1975. Composed of five childhood friends, they quickly rose to fame in the 1970s and 1980s due to the popularity of their romantic ballads. Los Bukis enjoyed considerable success during those decades, winning a Grammy Award in 1985 for their album "Para Siempre" and seven Latin Grammy Awards. The group split suddenly in 1998 and the members moved on to pursue solo career paths, with lead singer Marco Antonio Solís gaining the most success. They reunited in 2010 for a tour across the United States, further solidifying their status as one of the most popular bands in Latin America and beyond.
