Michael Waugh is an Australian country music singer/songwriter from Victoria. His influences may be varied, but his focus is on bringing a unique and personal story-telling style of songwriting. His lyrics paint vivid pictures and communicate themes and truths in a way that resonates with audiences of all ages. Since releasing his self-titled debut album in 2012, he has gone on to be nominated for the Telstra Road To Discovery Award and has headlined the popular the Queenscliff Music Festival. His latest album Cry Pretty was released in 2019 and is a deeply reflective and honest exploration into key themes of faith, family, identity and courage. Michael is currently touring regional Australia sharing his story-telling style of roots-flavoured songs as he continues to share his musical journey.
