Mike Skinner (DJ Set) is an artist from Birmingham, UK, who is best known as one-half of the drum and bass duo The Streets. He began his career in the mid-1990s as a producer, creating drum and bass-style beats used in the UK garage scene. After making a name for himself as a successful producer, Skinner formed The Streets, which became one of the most successful bands in the UK and had several chart-topping hits around the world. Following The Streets success, Skinner released several solo albums, while also pursuing his DJ career. His DJ sets are an eclectic mix of hip-hop, garage, grime, and drum & bass, and he regularly performs in clubs and festivals around the world. In addition to his musical work, he has also presented radio and podcast shows.
