Monsieur Perine is a multi-disciplined Colombian duo consisting of singer/songwriter Catalina Garcia and multi-instrumentalist/producer/arranger Mario Galeano. Together, they create a unique sound blending Colombian traditionals and rhythms, such as cumbia and champeta, with jazz and other contemporary musical genres. They released their debut album 'Hecho a Mano' in 2011 and since then have gone on to release five more records, performing nationally and internationally.

Monsieur Perine's style has spanned multiple musical genres from Latin American to pop, even experimenting with electronic beats, flamenco and environmental music. Their recent works have explored the concept of “el Caramelo”, incorporating the traditional rhythms of Colombian music and genre-bending them into something unique.
