P-Money (real name Peter Wadams) is a New Zealand hip-hop artist and record producer. He is widely considered to have been the defining force in the modern NZ hip-hop scene. P-Money's career began in 1997 as a drummer for a local Auckland hip-hop group under the name Peteraneous. As a solo artist, he released three studio albums. His breakthrough hit, "Stop the Music", released in 2003 and featured Scribe, marked a new era of hip-hop in the country. P-Money's hip-hop career has seen him produce for some of hip-hop's biggest stars including 50 Cent, Mobb Deep, and KRS-One. He has worked with various prominent singers, including Gin Wigmore, K'Naan, Three Six Mafia, and Shapeshifter. P-Money has also collaborated and produced songs for Snoop Dogg and Eminem. Over the years, he has earned multiple Gold and Platinum selling awards
