Patrick Wolf is a UK artist whose musical style has been described as eclectic and genre-bending. His musical career began in 2003 with the release of his debut album, Lycanthropy. This album was critically acclaimed and allowed him to reach heights of success he could only have dreamed of. His subsequent three albums, Wind in the Wires, Magic Position and The Bachelor, each charted highly in the UK and further cemented his reputation as an artist of substantial talent. He's collaborated on and produced music for various films, theatre and art exhibitions. As of 2019, Patrick Wolf has released six studio albums with two additional records exclusive to Japan. His most recent album, Sundark and Riverlight, was released in 2012. In 2020, Patrick Wolf released his most recent album, The Citadel, having described it as “the vibrant and intimate reflection of his journey from London to Normandy with all his musical ghosts and his beloved D-550 synthesizer".
