Peter Byrne is a British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist hailing from Glasgow. Before starting a solo career, he was part of the band, The Pale, which developed a cult following in the 1990s. Since then, he has released eleven solo albums, which combines traditional Celtic folk songwriting with modern electronic techniques and atmospheric production. His single 'What You're Hiding' climbed to #33 in the UK Singles Chart in 2006. Byrne has toured extensively throughout Europe, and has performed alongside the likes of The Prodigy, Mercury Rev, and Gomez. He is known for his lyrical storytelling and his ability to blend genres like folk, rock, and electronica. His music has been featured extensively in films, TV shows, and video games.
