Rhombus is a Canadian band that draws influence from funk, rock, jazz, electronica, folk, and world music. The core of the group is Bassist/Vocalist Matt Rogers alongside Drummer/DJ Colby Stack. They are backed up by various guest musicians, who differ from show to show. All of this eclectic instrumentation combined with a backup of electronic musical production resuilts in a unique sound that they have managed to bring from the world-renowned funk and jazz of the Montreal music scene to clubs across Canada. Their first full-length album Pop Music was released in 2017 and has seen critical success, but even moreso their energetic and innovative live shows have made them fan favourites. Rhombus has performed alongside nationally acclaimed Canadian artists like Chromeo, The Sheepdogs, and The Franklin Electric.
