About Rod Stewart
Rod Stewart is a legendary British singer and songwriter, who has had a long and prolific career in music. Releasing his debut album in 1969, he would become one of the most successful solo artists in the history of music, selling more than 250 million records across six decades. His most popular albums include Every Picture Tells a Story, Atlantic Crossing and Tonight’s the Night. The signature smoothness of his trademark raspy voice helped make him a major draw in the 70s in particular, with songs such as 'Maggie Mae', 'You Wear It Well' and 'Da Ya Think I’m Sexy’ – which are all stone-cold classics. He has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and has won two BRIT awards and six Grammy awards. Even in his 70s, he continues to tour regularly and release new music.
