Sandrien is a minimal tech artist from Utrecht, Netherlands, who is well known for her hypnotic DJ sets that combine minimal, driving beats and off-the-cuff sampling.

Starting her career in 1998, Sandrien has been a mainstay of the Dutch minimal techno and tech house scene. Her early work combined minimal house grooves with deep dub influences, but she has since expanded her sound to include a variety of experimental styles.

Sandrien has also gained international recognition with releases on Ben Klock’s characteristically minimalistic label, Klockworks, as well as many other house and techno labels.

As a DJ, she has performed at some of the world’s most renowned venues and festivals such as Berghain, Tresor, Unsound, and Boiler Room. Specializing in marathon sets, her sets have a distinct focus on rhythm and atmosphere that takes the listener on a journey.
