Shotgun Jazz Band is an American traditional jazz band from Nashville, Tennessee. Led by vocalist/guitarist Chris West and featuring the great Brian Oberlin on clarinet/tenor sax, Cory Eberhard on trombone and Butch Taylor on the banjo/guitar, Shotgun Jazz Band has become a fixture on the traditional jazz scene in the South. The band plays a mix of classic jazz, folk, and blues songs from the 1920s and 1930s.

The band has released 3 well-received albums, including their 2013 release of “Southern Express,” which sold over 10,000 copies in just the first month. In addition to their own albums, Shotgun Jazz Band has been featured in many compilation albums, several television and radio programs, in print articles, and on popular podcasts. The band was even named 'Traditional Jazz Artist of the Year' by the Tennessee Music Awards.
