The Black Market Trust is an American acoustic swing ensemble based in Los Angeles. Founded in 2004, they specialize in performing swing, gypsy jazz, and pre-WWII pop standards and combining them with unique arrangements of jazz, classical, and world music influences. Led by classically trained guitarist Aaron Weinstein, the band is the first to explore the American songbook in multi-dimensional acoustic swing. They have released four albums between 2007 and 2016 that have charted on Billboard earlier in their career. The Black Market Trust performs regularly at prestigious festivals, clubs, and private events around the world and have toured extensively in the US, Canada, and Europe. They also work as a session band on some movie soundtracks and commercials.
