The Grouch, whose real name is Corey Scoffern, is an American hip hop artist from the Bay Area, California. He is a founding member of the rap group Living Legends, and has also released several solo albums since 1998.

The Grouch has gained widespread recognition for his laid-back delivery and socially conscious lyrics, and has collaborated with a variety of artists from many genres, including Nas, E-40, Talib Kweli, Murs and Zion I. He has been named one of the "50 greatest West Coast rappers of all time" by LA Weekly and has been featured in several movies and television shows.

The Grouch is also active in the business world, having founded the label Station Break Records in 2003, as well as founding the online music store Sleeve to Sleeve in 2008. He has also toured extensively, performing at festivals such as the Coachella and Warped Tour and has been featured on multiple late night shows.
